Give the Gift of Green Spaces with the Holiday Tree Recycling Program

Go green this holiday season by recycling your holiday tree! There’s no better way to give the gift of a cleaner tomorrow than by taking part in the Overland Park tree recycling initiative. You can make Kansas a greener place by recycling your tree following the holidays!

Each year, Overland Park allows residents to drop off their holiday trees during daylight hours at Young’s Park, Quivira Park, the Overland Park Arboretum, or the Indian Creek Recreation Center. Your tree will get a second life as mulch that will help nurture trees in city parks all around the community. This enriching community tradition creates a fresh and long-lasting impact on our natural surroundings, so do your part and join in the progress! Just make sure to remove all lights, tinsel, ornaments, presents, and tree stands before dropping off your tree!

Community interaction is an important part of life, which is why Avenue 80 Apartments in Overland Park, Kansas is urging you to join in the all of the excitement at this event!
