Attend this special event, and you might score the ultimate holiday gift! At each performance, the Symphony will give away a dazzling jewelry prize from Helzberg Diamonds. No purchase necessary. Come home with a beautiful prize for yourself or that special someone!

Founded in 1982 and recognized as "The Sound of Kansas City," the Kansas City Symphony's 80-person orchestra performs more than 50 concerts in three series (classical, family and pop). The Symphony's 42-week season runs September through June. In addition, the Symphony performs non-series concerts such as Bank of America Celebration At The Station and Pops In The Park, educational programs, outreach performances, holiday concerts and serves as the orchestra for the Lyric Opera and the Kansas City Ballet.

With the mission to "advance and advocate the art of classical music for the enrichment of the community," the Kansas City Symphony has experienced impressive artistic growth under the leadership of its music directors, Russell Patterson (1982-1986), William McLaughlin (1986-1997) and Anne Manson (1998-2003). In September 2004, maestro Michael Stern was appointed Music Director. Classical performances are broadcast weekly on KCUR 89.3 FM during the Kansas City Symphony Hour, Thursdays at 9:00 p.m.

Don’t miss this Christmas Festival presented by Kansas City Symphony and sponsored by Helzberg Diamonds with support from the Neighborhood Tourist Development Fund. Tickets start at $30 for adults and $15 for children. For tickets and more information, visit www.kcsymphony.org.
