Rise Up and Revisit the Great Social Changes of World War I
Experience the monumental history on display at the World War I Museum’s special centennial exhibition. Revolutions! 1917 showcases the incredible events that occurred worldwide in a pivotal age, from America’s official entry into the war and Russia’s upheavals from an Imperial state to popular rule.
Learn about the fascinating battles, conflicts, and troubles on the home fronts that led to societal changes, mutinies and revolts. Objects and documents on exhibit are from the Museum’s extensive collection and most have not been exhibited anywhere before. The exhibition also features items on loan from other institutions, including President Wilson’s original war proclamation, articles of President Wilson’s clothing and an American suffragette banner.
At Avenue 80 Apartments in Overland Park, Kansas, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities is the key to an exceptional lifestyle.
